Volunteering

Volunteering can make a big difference to your life and the lives of others. You’ll develop your skills, meet new friends and experience a sense of fulfilment. Voluntary work is also a great opportunity to get experience, giving you a reference to apply for paid work in your chosen area.

We have a range of volunteering opportunities at the college. Many are advertised on the RHACC job site and through our partner, Richmond CVS. Richmond CVS holds regular drop in sessions to help you find voluntary work to help you get experience for work, practise your skills, get training, or contribute your talents to the community.

There are over 700 charities and not-for-profit organisations in the borough looking for volunteers, aged 18+ from all walks of life. There are roles to suit everyone with varying amounts of time required depending on the nature of the work. Your skills and energy can make a real difference to the lives of people in our local communities. If you have a few hours to spare and would like to get involved, contact Richmond CVS Volunteer Service at www.richmondcvs.org.uk, call 020 8843 7940 or email volunteer@communityconnectionsrichmond.org.uk or for more details.

We can help you register with Richmond CVS, Do-it www.do-it.org.uk and vInspired www.vinspired.com.
